Job overview

The Line Cook role is onsite in Burlingame, CA. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour. The position supports Benihana’s restaurant kitchen and its goal of delivering consistent menu items and dining service. The cook prepares dishes to recipe, portion, plating, timing, and food-safety standards. The role also supports prep and kitchen organization and coordinates with front- and back-of-house teams for smooth service.

What you'll do

• Prepare and execute dishes at the assigned station
• follow recipes, portioning, and plating standards
• process food tickets accurately
• maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety
• assist with prep, stocking, and kitchen setup
• maintain organized storage and production areas
• collaborate with front- and back-of-house teams
• follow sanitation requirements and chef or sous-chef instructions.
