The Electrical Engineer role is onsite in Arvada, CO, with pay of $80,000–$120,000 per year. The engineer supports Kratos Industries’ design and manufacture of switchboards, medium-voltage switchgear, controls packages, and related power-distribution equipment. The role develops electrical designs and production documentation and provides technical support across engineering and manufacturing. Accurate, timely deliverables and cross-functional problem-solving help production execute engineered-to-order projects.

What you'll do

• Design and support UL891 switchboards, metal-clad medium-voltage switchgear, controls packages, and related equipment
• prepare electrical designs, schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, bills of material, and production documentation
• maintain drawing revisions, redlines, as-built drawings, and closeout documentation
• coordinate with production to resolve manufacturing questions and design conflicts
• support engineering, purchasing, quality, sales, and project management
• improve engineering standards and workflows
• communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Why this role

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Requires 5+ years of engineering experience in electrical equipment, power distribution, controls, manufacturing, or a related technical environment. Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
