Senior Development Manager

Job overview

The Senior Development Manager role is hybrid, based in Boston, MA, with work from the downtown office at least 2–3 days per week and periodic travel within Massachusetts. Compensation is $85,000–$100,000. The Environmental League of Massachusetts and its Action Fund advocate for policy and build political power to address environmental challenges. The manager develops and stewards relationships with corporate, foundation, and individual partners and donors. The role supports the organizations’ fundraising and engagement goals through outreach, donor communications, proposals, reporting, and event sponsorship work.

What you'll do

• Research prospective partners and donors
• develop engagement plans and meeting briefs
• lead outreach to prospective Earth Night sponsors
• manage a portfolio of corporate, foundation, and middle donors
• create and track stewardship plans
• draft partner reports and fundraising materials
• support event planning, proposal budgets, and financial reports
• advise on development and corporate engagement goals and processes.
