Operator Foreman — Rigging and Heavy Lifts

What you'll do

• Conduct morning and afternoon safety and quality meetings
• ensure daily equipment inspections and JSEA are completed
• create lift plans based on equipment capacities
• maintain and track rigging and arrange routine equipment maintenance or repairs
• direct riggers and helpers attaching or detaching structures, piping, and vessels
• inspect rigging, control exclusion zones, verify safe working loads, and stop unsafe work
• coordinate standard and tandem lifts with operators using hand signals or radio
• communicate critical lift plans and request specialized rigging as needed.
