What you'll do
- Prepare and maintain endoscopic equipment and instruments
- clean and disinfect equipment according to facility policies and infection-control standards
- operate and troubleshoot endoscopy and patient-monitoring equipment
- provide supportive care before, during, and after procedures
- educate patients about procedures
- maintain supplies
- collaborate with nursing and healthcare staff
- protect patient confidentiality.
