What you'll do

• Manage and execute the Infection Prevention Program, including tracking, surveillance, reporting, and education
• champion resident and staff immunization
• chair the Infection Control Meeting
• participate in the QAA Committee and assigned subcommittees
• provide individual and group education
• coordinate new employee orientation
• work with medical providers
• conduct rounds to identify education needs and infection-control compliance
• provide sessions across departments and shifts
• identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans
• perform Assistant Director of Nursing responsibilities
• participate in the nursing administration on-call rotation.
