What you'll do

• Review work assignments and verify work pieces and routing
• set up machines by selecting wheels, bushings, collets, and programs
• enter tool and setup values
• grind and inspect first pieces
• dress abrasive wheels
• set spindle speeds, feed rates, and travel stops
• operate machines and inspect dimensions
• run multiple machines when appropriate
• enter production data
• report equipment problems
• complete job documentation and keep the area clean.
