The Head Start Teacher role is onsite in Canton, IL, with compensation of $22.39–$23.40 per hour. The position supports the Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois Head Start program. What you'll do

• Plan developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• implement Creative Curriculum, instruction, screenings, and assessments
• supervise assigned classroom and bus staff
• conduct two home visits and two parent-teacher conferences per enrolled family
• maintain children's files and classroom supplies
• support family engagement and school readiness
• attend required meetings and training.

Why this role

Requires at least an associate degree in early childhood education or a related field and DCFS Child Care Director qualifications. CPR, First Aid, Food Protection Manager, and Mandated Reporter certifications are required.
