Medication Technician — Assisted Living and Memory Care

The Medication Technician role is onsite in Sacramento, CA. Compensation is $18–$22 per hour. The position supports residents at Legacy Oaks of Sacramento Assisted Living and Memory Care. The technician assists residents with self-administration of medications under applicable RCFE regulations and supports resident care plans. The role also documents medication and care activities, monitors resident well-being, and provides shift direction to caregivers to support safe, consistent care.

What you'll do

• Prepare, organize, and secure medication trays or carts
• assist residents with self-administration of medications under RCFE Title 22 guidelines
• maintain medication administration records
• verify physician orders
• assist with medication audits and inventory
• communicate with physicians, pharmacies, and caregivers
• support activities of daily living and resident activities
• document care and changes in condition
• respond to emergencies
• provide shift direction and support to caregivers
• assist with onboarding and training.
