The Maintenance Service Technician III – The Towns at Patuxent Overlook role is onsite in Lexington Park, MD. Compensation is $19–$22 per hour. The technician supports residents and the apartment community managed by Benton Communities. The role maintains buildings, fixtures, and equipment through routine and preventive repairs, responds to urgent property issues, and documents deficiencies and completed work to help keep the community safe and operational.

What you'll do

• Perform daily and preventive maintenance and physical repairs
• handle basic carpentry, flooring, window and glass, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• respond to urgent issues such as sewer backups and flooding
• document building deficiencies and maintenance activity
• report housekeeping issues or unit damage
• coordinate significant repairs with contractors
• maintain equipment, supplies, and records
• remove snow and apply ice melt
• provide customer service and follow safety precautions.
