Extrusion Operator

Job overview

The Extrusion Operator role is an onsite, full-time position in Peosta, IA, paying $24 per hour. The operator reports to the Extrusion Supervisor and supports production by operating machinery and monitoring product output against quality standards. The role follows work instructions and hose construction documents, completes production records, labels products for delivery, tracks materials and scrap, and uses measurement tools to check work. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace and following applicable quality procedures supports reliable production.

What you'll do

• Operate machinery using techniques learned through training and standard operating procedures
• monitor product output for quality
• read work instructions and hose construction documents
• complete production documentation and tracking records
• label products for delivery
• use calipers, pin gauges, and tape measures
• maintain a clean and safe workplace
• follow applicable ISO 9001 procedures and 5S practices.
