The Director of Health and Wellness role is onsite in Roanoke, VA, with compensation of $75,000–$85,000 per year. The Park At Oak Grove is part of TerraBella Senior Living, which provides independent living, assisted living, memory care, and respite options. The director leads and manages resident health and well-being, coordinating clinical care, staff, and service planning. The role supports safe, responsive care by monitoring health needs, maintaining regulatory compliance, and communicating with residents’ families and responsible parties.

What you'll do

• Ensure compliance with clinical-care laws and regulations
• collect, analyze, and report occurrence trends and develop improvement plans when needed
• partner with the administrator and team on resident and staff health and safety
• coordinate with the pharmacy consultant
• provide clinical expertise to licensed nurses
• support educational presentations as assigned
• assess resident needs and update service plans
• communicate changes in care with families or responsible parties
• schedule clinical staff monthly
• ensure clinical supplies are available
• participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• supervise LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants.

Why this role

Requires an RN or LPN license in good standing, with RN preferred; one year in a nursing leadership role; and BSL certification. Senior living experience is preferred. The role includes a rotating on-call schedule.
