The steward maintains clean and sanitary kitchen operations by caring for dishware and equipment, following cleaning assignments and sanitation procedures, and supporting the kitchen team’s daily work.

What you'll do

• Follow daily direction from the Executive Chef, CDC, Senior Sous, and Stewarding Manager
• clean and maintain machinery
• understand chemicals and their uses
• sweep and mop floors, remove trash, and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• care for plateware, glassware, and flatware
• follow HACCP procedures and sanitation standards
• complete scheduled and deep-cleaning assignments
• report needed equipment, tools, or chemicals.
