The Registered Nurse, Outpatient (Per Diem) role is onsite in New York, NY, with a schedule of 8–16 hours per week. Pay is $40–$45 per hour. The nurse supports Mountainside Treatment Center, a behavioral healthcare provider focused on alcohol dependency and drug addiction recovery. The nurse manages clients’ medical and health-related needs, administers specified injections, monitors symptoms and vital signs, and documents care. Working with the multidisciplinary treatment team, the nurse supports client safety, treatment goals, and recovery.

What you'll do

• Complete client assessments and documentation
• administer Naltrexone and Buprenorphine injections
• monitor withdrawal symptoms, medication response, vital signs, and emerging medical or psychiatric concerns
• communicate findings to the physician, advanced practitioner, and treatment team
• document interventions in the electronic health record
• support client education, safety, infection control, medication storage, and daily rounds
• perform waived testing and quality controls.

Why this role
