What you'll do
- Depending on credentials and clinic needs, welcome, room, and triage pediatric patients
- obtain and document vital signs and concerns
- communicate findings to providers
- document visits in the EMR
- assist with procedures, medication administration, phlebotomy, laboratory testing, and radiology within scope
- prepare and maintain rooms
- support patient and caregiver education
- assist with registration, insurance verification, telephone support, and payment collection
- follow HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical safety standards.
