Retail Auditor

The Retail Auditor role involves onsite visits to assigned retail locations in the Fort Lauderdale, FL listing area; compensation is project-based, and no numeric pay rate is specified in the posting. SFS provides retail auditing, merchandising, installation, assembly, and store-support services to retailers and consumer brands. The auditor gathers and reports accurate in-store information so clients can assess product availability, inventory, merchandising, displays, promotions, and retail conditions. Assignments are selected within designated service windows, and most projects require approximately 10–20 hours per month.

What you'll do

• Review project instructions
• visit assigned retail locations during service windows
• interact professionally with store personnel
• conduct audits, product checks, inventory counts, and store observations
• verify product availability, placement, pricing, signage, displays, and promotions
• document out-of-stock, discontinued, damaged, or incorrectly displayed products
• compare merchandise and displays with planograms
• collect information and photos using a smartphone or tablet
• travel between accepted assignments
• submit reports on the same day the assignment is performed.
