Crane Operator

Job overview

The Crane Operator role is onsite in Hartselle, AL, with a stated schedule of 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; overtime and weekends are expected. Compensation is not specified. CraneWorks/RentalWorks provides crane, lifting, equipment rental, transportation, maintenance, and project support services. The operator safely performs heavy lifting and transport while leading job-site lifting work. What you'll do

• Operate cranes and boom trucks for heavy lifting and transport
• supervise and direct oilers, assist team leaders, and signal persons
• inspect crane and lifting gear before use
• ensure lifts are correctly rigged and within load limits
• maintain communication with riggers
• follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
• perform required preventive maintenance and participate in safety meetings.
