The CT Technologist role is onsite at the Vernon Imaging location in 06066, CT, with a Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is $34.00–$53.06 per hour, plus applicable shift differentials. This technologist operates CT equipment and performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to produce images that help physicians diagnose and treat patients. The work also supports safe, accurate imaging through protocol compliance, equipment quality assurance, and collaboration with radiologists and the care team.

What you'll do

• Perform CT procedures using appropriate exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields
• assist radiologists with complex invasive exams using sterile technique
• administer intravenous contrast when applicable
• follow radiation-safety practices
• maintain and disinfect equipment
• review orders and patient records
• document exam information and archive images
• prepare studies in PACS and enter procedure data in RIS
• perform weekly equipment quality-assurance testing
• collaborate with the department and other units
• provide clinical supervision and instruction to students.
