Fence Technician

The Fence Technician is an onsite role based in Tacoma, WA, with a pay range of $22.40 – $31.35 per hour. This position supports the operations team at United Site Services, an industry leader in comprehensive site services. The role is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, installation, and removal of temporary fencing at customer job sites. The technician ensures high-quality service delivery while maintaining compliance with safety standards and supporting team training.

What you'll do

• Conduct daily inspection of all tools assigned to the truck to ensure safety and proper working condition.
• Check loads to ensure that truck has all material and tools needed to complete service tickets.
• Conduct daily pre-shift vehicle inspection and report deficiencies to shop immediately.
• Operate fence vehicle to and from pre-designated work sites.
• Unload all fence materials and install fence panels in accordance with specifications.
• Coordinate the workload and the efforts of the Fence Helper.
• Meet with site superintendent to confirm work order.
• Record operational data on specified forms and submit to Fence Manager.
• Train and support Fence Helpers on proper installation procedures and safety protocols.
