The Toddler Teacher role is onsite in Mount Vernon, OH. Compensation is $14–$16 per hour. The teacher supports children in the care of KIDS ACADEMY Childcare & Preschool. The role develops age-appropriate learning activities and lesson plans while supporting children’s learning and socialization. It also contributes to a safe, organized classroom and consistent communication with families and staff, in accordance with childcare licensing rules.

• Adhere to ODJFS childcare licensing rules
• develop lesson plans
• interact with children to support learning and socialization
• communicate with parents
• participate in staff and training meetings
• maintain a clean classroom
• assist with classroom arrangement to support learning and developmental goals
• continue professional education.
