Building Maintenance/HVAC Technician

The Building Maintenance/HVAC Technician role is onsite in Alexandria, VA, with a 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. shift. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour, based on experience and incentives. At Woodbine Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, the role helps maintain a safe, reliable and comfortable environment for residents, staff and visitors. The technician keeps facility systems operating through general repairs, inspections and preventive maintenance. What you'll do

• Perform general maintenance and repairs involving painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and other facility systems
• inspect, troubleshoot and repair equipment
• support preventive maintenance
• document work orders and maintenance activity using basic computer systems
• respond to requests while prioritizing resident safety and comfort
• follow safety procedures and regulatory standards.
