The Endoscopy Technician — Cook County Tech role is onsite in Chicago, IL. Compensation is $22–$24 per hour. Surgical Solutions technicians support surgeons and hospital staff as part of the endoscopy team at the local account. The technician maintains and processes endoscopic equipment and supplies, supports procedure readiness, and coordinates repairs or loaner instruments. These services help the endoscopy team and hospital staff maintain safe, efficient daily operations and procedures.

What you'll do

• Maintain endoscopic equipment and supply inventories and perform safety checks
• may prepare endoscopy suites according to procedure requirements
• clean, leak-test, and disinfect or sterilize endoscopes according to manufacturer instructions
• identify damaged or worn scopes and instruments
• troubleshoot equipment and coordinate repairs or loaner instruments
• decontaminate, inspect, assemble, wrap, and sterilize surgical instruments
• maintain surgeon preference cards as needed
• communicate professionally with hospital and operating room staff
• use company technologies and systems
• manage assigned company and hospital property.
