What you'll do

• Provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care.
• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles and age-appropriate care.
• Performs testing to evaluate resident status and provides necessary care.
• Recognizes problems, recommends solutions, and responds effectively in emergencies.
• Administers medications or treatments as ordered.
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes.
• Counsels residents and families on prevention and treatment plans.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.

Experience

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred. Minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
