Commercial Roofing Project Coordinator

Job overview

The Commercial Roofing Project Coordinator role is onsite in Columbus, OH. Pay is $25–$30 per hour. Burns & Scalo Roofing Ohio provides commercial roofing and building-envelope services across Central Ohio, including construction, replacement, repair, maintenance, metal wall panels, and solar solutions. The coordinator supports field supervisors and project managers from project kickoff through closeout, handling project logistics and coordination so field leaders can focus on job performance and quality. The role helps keep materials, schedules, safety, costs, and project documentation aligned.

What you'll do

• Coordinate communication and meetings among job-site trades
• attend preconstruction and kickoff meetings
• inspect sites and report existing conditions
• communicate schedule changes
• coordinate deliveries, crane setup, and trash removal
• check incoming inventory and material availability
• attend general contractor meetings when applicable
• obtain change-order authorization
• assist with job costs, safety evaluations, planning, scheduling, and closeout
• track weather days and maintain job-site housekeeping.
