What you'll do

• Manage daily field operations and ensure compliance with INDOT specifications, plans, provisions, and contract documents
• lead, schedule, and mentor inspectors and technicians
• coordinate with contractors, owners, designers, utilities, and stakeholders
• review construction documents and submittals
• oversee materials acceptance and testing
• maintain project records, reports, change orders, and pay estimates
• prepare final construction records
• monitor work-zone safety, traffic, environmental commitments, and erosion control
• help resolve field issues, claims, and design conflicts.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field and 5+ years of construction inspection experience, or equivalent education and 8–10+ years of relevant experience. INDOT technician qualifications and OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification are required or obtainable as stated.
