Senior Supervising Building Management Systems Engineer

The Senior Supervising Building Management Systems Engineer role is onsite in Charlotte, NC, on the first shift; compensation is not specified. The engineer will lead controls design and instrumentation support for projects across aviation, critical facilities, financial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and other markets served by the client. The role exists to build and manage a project team delivering building controls designs and integrated systems specifications. It contributes through technical design, project and resource oversight, client coordination, quality control, and development of building management systems processes and standards.

What you'll do

• Prepare drawings and specifications and perform system design calculations
• select building-systems equipment and write reports
• assist clients with vendor evaluation, selection, and procurement
• attend project meetings and interface with clients, contractors, internal project and practice leaders, and site leaders
• coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design teams
• manage quality control, resources, and assigned project finances
• support business development and client relationships
• maintain BMS processes and standards
• manage direct reports and collaborate on hiring.
