The Security Officer, Part-Time Screening Checkpoint role is onsite in Oakland, CA, with a part-time schedule on Thursdays and Sundays from 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Pay is $21.95 per hour. The officer helps maintain a secure site by screening people and items, monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and supporting badge control. The role also includes customer service, reporting suspicious activity, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols of the facility and its perimeter.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service while following site security procedures and emergency response activities
• screen personnel, visitors, packages, and shipments
• monitor entry and exit points and verify credentials
• report unauthorized access or suspicious activity
• respond to incidents using established reporting and escalation procedures
• conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
