Water/Wastewater Estimator

The Water/Wastewater Estimator role is onsite in Huntsville, AL; compensation is not specified. The estimator supports water and wastewater infrastructure project pursuits and planning at B&B Concrete. This role develops project estimates and budgets, evaluates scope, constructability, risk, and cost, and coordinates with operations and project management from bid through handoff to help prepare projects for execution.

What you'll do

• Develop estimates for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, process piping, and related infrastructure
• perform quantity takeoffs and price self-performed labor, materials, and equipment
• evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
• assess phasing, logistics, constructability, and sequencing
• prepare preliminary schedules, budgets, bid reviews, and project handoffs
• identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies
• support buyout after award.
