The Corporate Strategist, Finance & Investment Strategy role is onsite in Pleasanton, CA. Compensation is $150,000–$190,000 per year. Avathon develops an industrial AI autonomy platform for customers in heavy industries, including energy, mining, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, and logistics. Working with executive leadership and partners across Finance, Product, and Corporate Development, the strategist develops analysis and recommendations for capital allocation, investments, partnerships, acquisitions, and growth. The role helps connect company priorities and market opportunities to financial decisions that support long-term enterprise value.

What you'll do

• Develop financial and investment strategy
• build financial models, investment cases, and scenario analyses
• evaluate capital allocation across product, technology, market expansion, and partnerships
• assess investments, acquisitions, and corporate development opportunities
• develop market sizing, revenue models, unit economics, profitability analyses, and long-range scenarios
• analyze business model, pricing, margins, costs, and growth drivers
• monitor AI and industrial technology markets and investment activity
• support strategic planning and executive, board, investor, financing, and partnership discussions.
