Certified Medication Administrator (CMA)

The Certified Medication Administrator (CMA) role is onsite in Holyoke, CO. Pay is $22–$25 per hour. The position supports residents at Regent Park Nursing and Rehabilitation. The administrator assists with medication administration under the direction of the attending physician, nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services. Accurate preparation, administration, documentation, and observation help ensure medications are handled according to orders and applicable standards.

What you'll do

• Safely prepare, administer, and document oral and topical medications
• report medication errors
• complete required forms and charts
• verify and identify medications brought into the facility
• assist with medication charting
• ensure medications are labeled and stored properly
• document discontinued medications and returns or reorders
• measure and report vital signs
• observe medication ingestion or application
• ensure medications have written, signed, and dated orders.
