The Senior Principal Radio Frequency Engineer works onsite in Sparks, MD, on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. Compensation is $190,000–$215,000 per year. The role supports iRF – Intelligent RF Solutions’ work on SIGINT and electronic warfare missions, as well as radar applications. Serving as the organization’s RF subject matter expert, this engineer leads architecture, design, and development of advanced RF and microwave systems. The role advances technology roadmaps and customer solutions while providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and supporting business development.

What you'll do

• Provide RF technical leadership and subject-matter expertise
• lead design and development of RF/microwave receivers and frequency converters
• develop and execute the multi-year technology roadmap
• analyze requirements and system architecture
• lead RF design on critical programs
• work with customers to define concepts and technical solutions
• chair design reviews
• support business development with technical proposals, presentations, and meetings
• mentor engineers and technical leads.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 15 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 13 years; active Secret clearance and eligibility for TS/SCI required. Onsite 9/80 schedule; every other Friday off.
