What you'll do
- Assess residents and document needs, changes, interventions, and treatment plans
- administer medications and treatments
- maintain and secure the assigned medication cart
- review medication and treatment records
- coordinate medication and supply orders
- carry out physician orders
- monitor for medication effects and changes in condition
- communicate shift reports
- take and document clinical measurements
- coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
- supervise and guide Certified Nursing Assistants
- follow infection-control, resident-rights, confidentiality, and emergency procedures.
