Certified Addiction Counselor

What you'll do

• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• facilitate individual and group counseling, recovery, and psychoeducation sessions
• support relapse prevention and coping skills
• coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members
• maintain documentation under CARF and Maryland COMAR requirements
• provide addiction and recovery education and resources to clients and families
• participate in meetings, training, and quality improvement.
