Maritime License Consultant

The Maritime License Consultant role is onsite in Houma, LA, and pays $17 to $25 per hour. The position is in RELYON USA LLC’s TMS – Marine Licensing unit and supports internal and external customers with maritime licensing. The consultant processes domestic and international applications, gathers required information, communicates application status, and coordinates filings and document delivery. The work helps mariners and corporate contacts complete licensing processes and keeps related records and billing documentation current.

What you'll do

• Answer internal and external customer questions about maritime licensing
• process domestic and international applications
• gather information needed for applications
• communicate application status weekly to mariners and corporate contacts
• act as filing agent for the USCG and other flag states
• maintain worksheets and reports daily
• communicate professionally in writing and verbally
• provide supporting documentation to invoicing
• travel locally as needed to pick up documents, expedite processing, or deliver licenses.
