What you'll do

• Review drawings and specifications and perform takeoffs for sprinkler, standpipe, and fire pump systems
• account for code-required components in bids
• solicit and evaluate supplier pricing
• prepare bid packages with labor, material costs, overhead, and margin
• coordinate leads and deadlines with business development
• clarify scope and adjust pricing
• hand off awarded jobs with scope, budget, and code requirements
• track win/loss rates and refine estimating accuracy.
