The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Jackson, CA, with a Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule. Pay is $25.56–$30.10 per hour. MACT Health Board’s mission is to improve the health status of American Indian and Alaska Native communities. The assistant supports the Medical Department and care team throughout patient visits, preparing records and rooms, collecting intake information, assisting with exams and procedures, and performing trained lab and phlebotomy tasks. These clinical and administrative duties help providers deliver organized patient care.

What you'll do

• Prepare visits and ensure reports, labs, and information are available in medical records
• escort patients and collect vital signs
• assist providers with exams and procedures
• perform lab tests, screening, and phlebotomy consistent with training and clinic policies
• maintain equipment and supplies
• clean and restock rooms
• monitor provider inboxes
• assist with medication refills and prior authorizations
• maintain immunization and injectable logs
• follow safety and infection-control standards.
