Region Safety Trainer

What you'll do

• Lead new-hire safety orientations
• deliver commercial motor vehicle driver training
• conduct OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA compliance training
• develop and manage heavy equipment and certified PIT training programs with subject matter experts
• maintain training and compliance records
• measure training competencies
• facilitate toolbox talks and safety huddles
• conduct field observations and ride-alongs
• identify training needs with operations leaders
• support incident investigations and site safety inspections.

Why this role

Requires knowledge of DOT and OSHA requirements, five or more years of safety recordkeeping experience, five or more years interpreting safety regulations, a Class B CDL, and a DOT medical card or ability to obtain one. Nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and travel between offices may be required.
