The Registered Nurse (RN), Day Habilitation role is onsite in Worcester, MA, at $45 per hour. The part-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with no nights, weekends, or major holidays. Baroco supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in participating in their communities. The nurse oversees and coordinates care for Day Habilitation participants, supporting their health, safety, and quality of life. The role combines direct and indirect nursing care, coordination with providers and interdisciplinary teams, staff supervision and training, and compliance with Massachusetts regulations.

What you'll do

• Oversee and provide direct and indirect nursing care
• coordinate medical services with primary care providers and clinics
• complete nursing assessments and maintain medical documentation
• supervise nursing staff and complete LPN delegations
• participate in interdisciplinary meetings
• administer medications and perform skilled treatments such as G-tube feedings and tracheostomy care
• develop and monitor individualized health protocols
• train staff
• respond to emergencies and document incidents
• support regulatory and safety compliance
• advocate for appropriate programming and quality care. May occasionally provide nursing coverage at other Baroco sites.
