Leasing Consultant, Brookland Ridge and The Arbor

The Leasing Consultant role is onsite in Washington, DC, supporting Brookland Ridge Apartments and nearby sister community The Arbor. Compensation is $19–$24 per hour. The role reports to the Property Manager and supports leasing and resident service at both communities. The consultant manages the leasing process from initial inquiry through move-in, helping maintain occupancy and resident retention. The role combines prospect engagement, tours, applications and lease paperwork, resident communication, marketing updates, and compliance with Fair Housing and company policies.

What you'll do

• Respond to prospects and schedule and conduct tours
• explain features, pricing, and lease terms
• follow up with prospects
• prepare applications, leases, and move-in documents
• collect and reconcile resident funds
• maintain leasing-system records
• coordinate move-ins
• respond to resident questions and concerns
• update online advertising
• monitor market conditions
• support outreach and resident events
• comply with Fair Housing and privacy requirements.
