Procurement Consultant

The Procurement Consultant role is hybrid in Plano, TX, with onsite work every Tuesday and as requested and remote work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The pay rate is $35 per hour. The role supports the Indirect Procurement Shared Services department’s objective of providing stable, flexible solutions while reducing costs and mitigating risks. The consultant leads category sourcing strategies, coordinates competitive sourcing events and contract development, and works with stakeholders and suppliers to improve quality and productivity. The role also negotiates pricing and reviews purchase requests in Ariba PTP.

What you'll do

• Facilitate multi-year sourcing strategies
• plan and lead RFP, RFI, and RFQ processes
• support contractual documents
• collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers
• document how applications and projects meet business requirements
• diagnose issues and identify root causes
• negotiate pricing and manage sourcing requests
• and review business requests for purchase orders in Ariba PTP.
