The Line Cook works onsite in Kansas City, MO. Pay is $17–$20 per hour. The role supports Burger Theory, the casual dining restaurant at Holiday Inn KCI, in providing guests with a dining experience. The cook prepares menu items to recipes and presentation standards, maintains food safety and kitchen cleanliness, and helps keep ingredients and supplies organized for service. Weekday and weekend evening availability from 4 p.m. to midnight is required; holidays and overtime may be needed.

What you'll do

• Set up workstations
• measure and mix ingredients
• prepare and check ingredients
• cook, grill, broil, or sauté menu items to standard recipes and presentation specifications
• follow food handling and sanitation guidelines
• use equipment safely
• assist with supply deliveries and inventory rotation
• and maintain a clean, orderly kitchen.
