Production Machine Operator

The Production Machine Operator role is onsite in Benton Harbor, MI. Compensation is not specified. The operator reports to the Production Supervisor at Pero Family Farms, a farming and food-processing operation producing and distributing vegetables. The operator sets up and runs high-speed production machinery to cut and package produce, maintaining product quality and machine readiness. Cleaning, blade handling, supply upkeep, and adherence to safety and lockout/tagout procedures support safe, consistent food production.

What you'll do

• Set up machines with the correct blades for products and cuts
• feed product
• clean and grease machines
• change and properly store blades
• follow machine settings
• ensure proper product cuts
• maintain production supplies
• follow safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout
• comply with attendance and company policies.
