Benefits Specialist — Medicaid Redetermination & Benefits Education

The Benefits Specialist role is onsite in Silver Spring, MD. Compensation is $67,000 per year, plus benefits. SEEC’s Knowledge Management Department supports organizational learning and service improvement for a nonprofit serving people with developmental disabilities. This role manages Medicaid redetermination cases, provides benefits guidance and education, and maintains tracking and reporting. It helps people supported by SEEC maintain benefits eligibility while strengthening staff knowledge and improving related processes.

What you'll do

• Monitor Medicaid renewal timelines, follow up with people and families, gather and verify documentation, and oversee cases through eligibility decisions. Provide individualized benefits assistance and group education
