The Medical Assistant Float role is onsite and part-time, based at the Houston, TX practice and floating to Clear Lake, Beaumont, Memorial City, Katy, and Spring Woodlands, TX. Compensation is not specified. Shady Grove Fertility is part of US Fertility, a physician-led fertility practice network focused on patient experience and fertility care. The Medical Assistant supports fertility patients and clinical teams through phlebotomy, specimen handling, procedure assistance, patient education, and documentation. The role helps maintain coordinated clinical care across the listed locations and supports patients throughout their care experience.

What you'll do

• Perform high-volume phlebotomy and maintain blood-drawing station supplies
• send lab specimens to appropriate labs
• document care in logs and patient records and enter labs and print labels
• assist physicians or ultrasound technicians with procedures and HSGs as needed
• take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance
• support fertility patient care, counseling, procedure teaching, and pre- and post-operative education
• assist with administrative tasks and prior authorizations.
