Compensation is not specified. The Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Systems Engineer role is onsite in Huntsville, AL or Mooresville, NC. Corvid Technologies is an engineering firm using computational modeling and simulation for aerospace, Department of Defense, and commercial customers. The engineer translates mission objectives into GNC system requirements and architecture, then supports integration, verification, and performance analysis. The role connects the GNC department with adjacent engineering and program teams to help deliver complex aerospace vehicle systems.

What you'll do

• Responsibilities may include deriving and managing subsystem and component requirements
• defining GNC architecture, interfaces, and functional boundaries
• developing verification plans and test procedures and leading verification and validation campaigns using hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop environments
• assisting with high-fidelity six-degree-of-freedom simulation analysis and trade studies
• assisting with risk mitigation and maintaining interface, test, and performance documentation
• serving as a technical liaison with adjacent teams.

Why this role

The role requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, a relevant bachelor's degree, and at least five years of systems engineering experience applied to GNC, robotics, or autonomous systems. Master's degree preferred.
