Certified Medical Assistant

The Certified Medical Assistant role is onsite in Harvard, IL, with compensation of $16–$18 per hour. Community Health Partnership of Illinois provides primary and preventive care to migrant and seasonal farmworkers and other medically underserved populations across northern and central Illinois. The assistant supports physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care. The role contributes through clinical support, patient education, accurate records, and coordination with the healthcare team.

What you'll do

• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures
• obtain and document medical histories, vital signs, and clinical information
• prepare rooms, supplies, and equipment
• perform routine laboratory tests and clinical procedures within scope
• administer medications as directed
• assist with appointments and records
• educate and support patients
• maintain a safe clinical environment
• follow regulations, policies, and confidentiality requirements
• collaborate with the care team.
