Teradyne’s AI Ops team is building knowledge and retrieval infrastructure for engineering teams using AI agents and developer tools. This senior individual-contributor role advances an existing proof of concept into a reliable, measurable retrieval platform. It provides hands-on technical direction and implementation so engineering teams can find relevant evidence across code and documentation.

What you'll do

• Lead technical direction, design, implementation, testing, and operation of the retrieval platform. Develop Python services and pipelines to index source repositories and engineering documents while preserving permissions. Build repeatable evaluations for search, ranking, chunking, freshness, and code- and document-aware retrieval. Collaborate on API and MCP-compatible integrations
• monitor index freshness, failures, retrieval quality, latency, and cost
• support adoption with code, tests, tooling, documentation, and shared engineering patterns.
