What you'll do

• Operate a residential refuse truck with an automatic side-loading arm
• use in-cab controls to collect carts
• follow route sheets, maps, and onboard routing systems
• monitor surroundings and hazards
• handle occasional extra or bulky items under company guidelines
• inspect the truck and equipment before and after trips
• report defects and cart issues
• follow DOT regulations, safety rules, and local ordinances
• interact professionally with customers
• complete route paperwork and electronic logs.
