• Create and carry out individualized education plans
• communicate student progress with staff and families
• prepare lesson plans and quarterly progress reports
• participate in scheduled IEP meetings
• use individualized reinforcement techniques
• coordinate with an on-site therapist on behavioral and disciplinary issues
• maintain a safe classroom.
