The Lead Preschool Teacher, Nature-Based Learning is an onsite, full-time role in Lynn, MA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The stated salary is $50,000–$52,000 annually. The role supports Cairn Hill Nature Preschool’s Waldorf-inspired, nature-based early childhood program. The teacher leads a safe, inclusive, developmentally appropriate classroom, supporting children’s learning and whole-child development through seasonal curriculum, child-led exploration, and daily outdoor experiences. The role also partners with families and colleagues and maintains compliance with Massachusetts early education standards and licensing requirements.

What you'll do

• Implement curriculum aligned with Massachusetts early learning standards and EEC guidelines
• develop weekly and daily lesson plans
• facilitate storytelling, art, music, and early STEM
• build relationships with children and families
• document children’s growth
• support social-emotional learning and positive peer interactions
• maintain active supervision, ratios, licensing compliance, and safe environments
• lead daily outdoor exploration
• communicate with families
• participate in events, trainings, and team collaboration.
